Jerry Aigner of Aigner Construction, the title sponsor and a member of the President's Golf Classic committee, stated, "With the task of organizing this prestigious event, I feel the committee and staff of Oakland City University did an outstanding job of pulling it all together.  The proof is in the results.

The 2023 President's Golf Classic raised approximately $70,000.  The funds raised will be designated to Oakland City University's Scholarship for Oaks.  President Dempsey identified that the Scholarship for Oaks funds are distributed to incoming and returning students as needed.  Past monies raised have benefited numerous students seeking degrees in education, business, criminal justice, Christian studies, and more.   He added, "It was a good day to be outside for a great cause that consisted of food, fellowship, and 18 holes."

Following the fury of play, three teams tied for first place with a 57 – 15 under par.  However, using the tie-breaking method of retrogression, The Drew Shockley Family team consisting of Drew and Jessica Shockley, Matt, and Erin Monroe out bested the rest to claim the PGC championship trophy.
