A Letter from New Alumni Board President
I want to introduce myself as the new OCU Alumni Board President. As President of the Alumni Association, I am very excited to lead our Alumni in support of our beloved University.
I came to OCU as a student in 2005 and graduated with a B. A. and a B.S. in 2010. In 2008, I married my college sweetheart, David Hose (‘08), and together we served as the Resident Directors of Brokaw Hall for six years. David and I have served OCU in different roles on campus, including the IT Department, Athletics, Student Life, Student Support Services, and Academic Support. We love OCU and are now raising our three daughters and a new baby due this fall in our favorite little town and often on the campus of OCU.
The new Vice President of the Alumni Board is Debra McIntosh, the Treasurer is Gay Weir, and the Secretary is Heidi Hamilton. It is my absolute pleasure to serve with these amazing women. We look forward to what the upcoming year will bring to our campus and to our Alumni.
Throughout the upcoming year, we will meet monthly with the board. We plan to continue the 100 BY 100 campaign to enhance our campus for the current students who will soon join us as alums. We have also been discussing events we can host in other communities to increase participation among our OCU Alumni.
If you have any questions, feel free to send them to [email protected]. If you visit our beautiful campus, stop by my office in the Bower-Suhrheinrich Student Life Center, Room 103.
We look forward to seeing you on campus soon.
