Alum Makes Another Generous Gift to OCU
Their generosity knows no bounds. In September of 2022, Dr. Donald, class of 1963, and Mary Ann Wilder made an unprecedented donation to the OCU Tennis program. Their gift drives the construction of the new Tennis Center on the OCU campus.
Now, the Wilders follow that contribution by donating two automobiles. The Student Life department will use a beautiful BMW SUV for transportation. Brad Knotts, Associate Vice President of Student Life, stated, “God’s blessing has been bestowed upon us again. Student Life had a need, and God answered our prayers by convicting the hearts of Mr. and Mrs. Wilder. We thank Don and Mary Ann for listening to God’s direction.”
Any corporation with a footprint that covers 34 acres, like the OCU campus, has the delicate task of caring for and beautifying the grounds, structures, and infrastructure. OCU’s maintenance department has a herculean task to keep everything running smoothly and looking pristine. To do so, the necessary tools must be purchased, repaired, or replaced when needed. Don and Mary Ann gave OCU’s maintenance department a new tool for their tool chest. Don and Mary Ann’s second donation adds to the maintenance transportation fleet. The Wilder’s donated a 2018 Chevrolet truck. The truck will help OCU’s maintenance department stay in lockstep with the daily needs that must be addressed.
OCU thanks Dr. Donald and Mary Ann Wilder for their continued advocacy and support of their university.
