OCU Students, Faculty, Staff on Break

Celebrating this Christian holiday season and properly replenishing one’s energies, OCU has structured Winter Break for students, faculty, and staff to spend time with their families and friends and reflect on 2023 before starting 2024 anew.   

Starting Wednesday, December 13, the offices, and classrooms will be closed.  Some exceptions apply to faculty members who will continue online instruction for certain Master’s degree programs.  While other OCU faculty will be teaching a new winter online intersession class that ends on December 22nd.  In addition to some faculty, some staff and security will still be active on campus. 

All sporting events scheduled during the break will be played as scheduled unless inclement weather causes cancellations or postponements.   

Staff members will reopen the campus on Thursday, January 4.  Faculty and students will return Friday, January 5 with classes resuming on Monday, January 8th.
